Resident Testimonials

What do we like about Springlake Village? While there are several things we could mention, we will offer just two thoughts. First, the people who call this community home. Good neighbors, willing to lend a hand when needed. Our neighbors care about each other. There are several monthly events that are always well attended and they bring people together to catch up. Second, the economics. We do annual surveys of lot rents at various parks and Springlake Village is a much better buy than anywhere else. And it’s not even close. Our owner keeps rent increases to a minimum which keeps our rent at a minimum

In 2011 my wife and I decided to look into buying a mobile home in Florida that would replace our rentals that we paid every winter in Myrtle Beach, SC. After looking at over 100 homes, we selected Springlake Village. Our first winter in the park we enjoyed the pool, our neighbors and the beauty of the park. We knew we had made a good decision and spent longer and longer winters in Florida. In 2016 we sold our home in Maine and moved to SLV. We are particularly pleased that, for a small park, it has very nice amenities. A large well-kept pool and clubhouse. With lake views, new pier, large trees, and friendly residents that keep their homes nice. It is a quiet rural environment, but so convenient for shopping; only 3 miles (one traffic light) from all immediate needs; food, banking, hardware, 2 "dollar" stores, auto parts, county registration office, library, and free large item waste disposal if needed. After 13 years we love our community and our home.

After RV'ing for 12 years, we found Springlake Village quite by accident and fell in love with this quaint, quiet and well-kept park. We were looking for RV park closer to the services we needed and saw this little park that was kind of hidden in the woods. Needless to say, our RV days are behind us. We often go to the dock and enjoy sitting by the water or watching the sunset and sometimes just a drive around the park to see and talk with others. We enjoy monthly pot-luck dinners and coffee hour. There are many activities in the park available for residents and many in the nearby city of Ocala. Medical facilities, shopping, restaurants, trails for hiking or biking, cultural events, all within a short drive. What is so important here is that residents are so helpful! If there is a need, there is always someone there to help or lend you support! We are like family here. Park management is always there to keep our park running smoothly and we appreciate him. Repairs are done in a timely manner and our concerns always addressed!
